M54 SAR Weapon Model, Part I

I have decided to leave Levinski for awhile and go for the weapon design. While the code is (almost) done, the model is still under construction.
So far, this is the result :

It still uses 3ds Max maps and some places are still left blank. This is just temporary and still unusable until it fits the character.

Main Character Model, Part IV

After several tweaks and downloads, finally the basic Levinski is ready. Behold...
And yes, he's T-posed no longer. Thanks to UT3 biped, I'm now able to animate him. Importing him however, still needs simplified vertices. It's 50000+ vertices and 90000+ Polys...

For a few moment, I was using the simple, rough way to model the hair. So the result is like this :
His clothing materials haven't been made, yet. And I'm aware of the arm area's slightly unrealistic er... pattern. I might remake the hair and the shirt later...

For hair, I tried to follow the tutorial from a deviantART user (whose name I won't mention now) so the result is like this
 
 As you can see, the hair renders badly. I need someone to solve this because I'm really dying to get him inside the game I'm working on!

Main Character Model, Part I

After several tries with makehuman and 3ds Max application, the body of the main character is completed. There is still so much more to do, like getting his hair, clothes, and etc.

He's not supposed to be bald, mind you... I'm gonna work on his hair next. Anyone who knows how to create low-poly hair, can you lend a help?

Concept Art of M54 Standard Assault Rifle

This weapon is first drawn on paper. Due to the lack of tools, the concept art is rebuilt on Macromedia Freehand.

M54 is the standard assault rifle designed for various purposes, mostly apprehension and quick killing. While it is the Marines' standard weapon, the rifle's barrel is designed to contain a bullet compressor that allows it to compress the gunfire sounds, thus making it a perfect gun for silent kills.

Plans for Weapons

After several days of planning, the concept arts for several weapons are finished. So far, there are :
  • 2 Automatic Rifles
  • 2 Pistol (Semi-Auto and Full-Auto)
  • 1 Melee/Ranged weapon
  • 1 Plasma Rifle
  • 2 Sniper Rifle
  • 1 Flame Thrower
  • 2 Grenade Launcher
  • 1 Machine Gun
Note that this is still a plan. The basic code of the first auto-rifle is being written right now. The model however, is not even started yet (but the design has been drawn on paper). There might be more, or WILL be more because I'm planning to divide the weapons into two factions.
